What is the Gazebo Penguin car shelter cover made of, and is it waterproof?
The cover is triple-layer woven polyethylene (7 oz per square metre, 1600 denier). Its seams are heat-welded, it is 100% waterproof, it is UV-treated inside, outside and in between, and it contains antifungal agents. It stays flexible in cold winter weather.
The frame is steel with a finish that resists chipping, rust and corrosion: 1-1/4 in. pipe on the 11 ft wide shelters, and 1-5/8 x 2-3/4 in. on the Deluxe Double shelters.
