Can the gazebo curtains stay up through the winter?

We recommend storing the curtains indoors over the winter. Take them down at the end of the season, let the fabric dry completely so it does not mildew in storage, fold it and keep it somewhere dry — these are shade and privacy panels, not a winter cover. The gazebo or pergola itself stays where it is; on a hardtop structure what matters is clearing heavy snow off the roof after a storm. Tying the curtains back at the posts on windy days during the season also saves wear on the fabric and the ties.
