How is the Gazebo Penguin winter support bar installed?

The bar is a black metal post that adjusts in length. Stand it under the roof beam — under the ridge of a peaked-roof gazebo, or under the sloped beam of a solarium or wall-mounted gazebo — set the length, and fasten the base plate to the deck or patio through its two holes. It is made to be easy to install and to remove, so it can go up before the first snow and come down in the spring. It carries a one-year warranty.
