Are ShelterLogic covers and canopies UV protected?

ShelterLogic uses UV-treated polyethylene covers across all product lines:

• Standard covers (9 oz.): UV-treated for 3-5 year outdoor life
• Heavy-duty covers (14.5 oz.): Enhanced UV treatment for 5-7+ year life
• Cover types: All are waterproof, not just water-resistant
• Replacement: When covers eventually degrade from UV exposure, replacement covers are available separately — you don't need to replace the entire structure

To maximize cover life: remove heavy snow promptly, keep the surface clean of debris, and choose peak-roof models which shed water and UV exposure more effectively than round-roof models.
