What are the Gazebo Penguin curtains made of, and do they keep insects out?

The curtains are black polyester made for outdoor use. Closed, they block direct sunlight and glare and screen the sides of the gazebo from view; on the Shefford sets the fabric also reduces exposure to the sun's UV rays. Each panel ties back at the post when you want the sides open, so you can close one side against the afternoon sun and leave the rest open. They are shade and privacy curtains, not insect screens: to keep mosquitoes out, order the mosquito netting made for your gazebo instead — it is a separate product.
