What is the difference between a galvanized steel roof and fabric roof gazebo?

Galvanized steel roof (e.g., Sojag Dakota): Permanent hardtop structure that can withstand snow loads and remain up year-round. Heavier, more expensive, but built for Canadian climate. The steel panels provide UV protection and noise reduction during rain.

Fabric roof (e.g., Sojag Roma): Lighter polyester cover that's water-resistant and wrinkle-resistant. More affordable and easier to assemble. The cover should be removed for winter storage. Ideal for three-season use from spring to fall.
