With proper care, 5-10+ years. The polyethylene cover is UV-treated and waterproof. Replace the cover when it shows wear rather than the entire structure.
Can I use a Shed-in-a-Box as a workshop or garage?
Yes for storage and light workshop use. Not insulated or heated, but provides excellent weather protection for tools, equipment, vehicles, and seasonal items.
Do I need a building permit for a portable shelter or shed?
It depends on your municipality. Most Canadian cities don't require permits for temporary/portable structures under a certain size, but always check local bylaws.
