What is the difference between a fabric storage shed and the Arrow metal canopy?

The Shed-in-a-Box and Scotts sheds close on all four sides: a steel frame under a fitted cover, with a double-zippered door at the front and a solid back panel. The Arrow Metal Canopy is open-sided — a galvanized steel roof on a powder-coated steel frame, rated to 100 mph wind and 35 psf snow — for an ATV, motorcycle, bike or grill you want covered rather than shut away.

Do these shelters include a floor, and do they have to be anchored?

None of them includes a floor; they stand on the ground you prepare, so level, well-drained ground or a gravel pad is worth the effort. Anchors are in the box: four 15 in. auger anchors with the Shed-in-a-Box sheds, and the anchor set with the Arrow Metal Canopy. No permanent foundation is needed, which is also why no building permit is usually required.

What sizes are available, and can a utility shelter replace a garage?

Sizes run from the 4 x 4 x 6 ft Scotts garden shed and the 5 x 8 ft Gazebo Penguin utility shelter through 6 x 6, 6 x 10, 6 x 12, 8 x 8, 10 x 10, 10 x 15 and 12 x 12 ft storage sheds, plus the 8 x 10 x 5 ft round portable shelter, the 10 and 12 ft Arrow metal canopies and run-in shelters from 12 x 20 to 22 x 24 ft. They are relocatable, year-round storage rather than a garage: fabric over a steel frame, no floor and no foundation, which is what keeps them affordable and lets you move them when needs change.
