10x10 Gazebos

A 10 x 10 ft gazebo covers a bistro set or a four-seat dining table on a 12 x 12 ft patio — the size for a townhouse yard or a deck off the kitchen. IPATIO carries Sojag's 10x10 hardtops (Ventura, Ventura II, Meridien, Verona, Sanibel I), the Sojag Pompano that bolts to the house wall, the Gazebo Penguin Shefford with its metal roof, and the Sojag Malta soft-top for a lighter budget. Hardtop frames are rustproof aluminum with galvanized-steel roofs rated for Canadian snow, and most include mosquito netting.

Attaching it to the house? See the wall-mounted gazebos. Curtains, netting and winter covers cut to this footprint are in 10x10 gazebo accessories; need more room? Compare the 10x12 gazebos.

10x10 gazebo FAQ

What fits under a 10 x 10 gazebo?

A round or square table for four, or a two-seat sofa with two chairs. Allow a 12 x 12 ft base so the posts do not land at the very edge of the patio and the roof overhang clears the house or fence.

Which 10x10 stays up all winter?

The hardtops — Sojag Ventura, Meridien, Verona, Sanibel and the Gazebo Penguin Shefford — with the curtains and netting removed and, ideally, a universal 10x10 winter cover. The Malta soft-top canopy comes down in fall.

Can I attach a 10x10 to the house?

Yes: the Sojag Pompano 10 x 10 is a wall-mounted model whose back beam bolts to a ledger on the house. Freestanding kits should not be attached — their frames are engineered to stand on four posts.

Do I need a permit?

At 100 sq ft a 10x10 sits under the accessory-structure threshold in many municipalities, but setbacks still apply and some cities require a permit for any roofed structure. Check your bylaw first.
