Wall-mounted gazebo FAQ
How is a wall gazebo attached to the house?
The back beam bolts to a ledger fastened through the siding into the wall framing, with flashing above it; the two front posts anchor to the deck or patio. The kit includes the wall hardware — you supply the lag bolts sized for your wall.
Can it stay up in winter?
Yes. The galvanized-steel roof panels are rated for snow, and being attached to the house keeps the frame steadier in wind. Take the netting and curtains down in fall and brush off heavy snow after major storms, as Sojag recommends.
Which size should I choose?
10 x 10 ft shades a patio door and a bistro set; 10 x 12 ft fits a dining table for six; 10 x 14 ft covers a dining table and a lounge corner. Measure the wall run between windows and downspouts first.
Do I need a permit?
An attached gazebo is often treated as an addition rather than an accessory structure, so a permit and setbacks may apply. Check your municipal bylaw before you order.
