10x14 Gazebos
A 10 x 14 ft gazebo is the size for a full dining set under cover: a table for eight, or a sectional and a coffee table with room to walk around them, while the 10 ft side still fits a typical deck. The choice here runs from steel hardtops — the Sojag Ventura, Genova and Lucca and the Corriveau Metropolis — to the Sojag Verona with a polycarbonate roof that lets the light through, two wall-mounted models that attach to the house (the polycarbonate Pompano and the steel-roofed Portland), and the soft-top Sojag Malta.
Most come with mosquito netting on a double track, so curtains can hang alongside it; the Lucca instead has a wrap-around L-shaped bar counter and a trellised privacy wall. Winter depends on the model: Sojag says the Ventura's roof does not need to come down and the Verona and Portland can stay up all year, Corriveau says to clear snow from the Metropolis, and a fabric top comes off before the first snow. 10x14 gazebo FAQ
What fits under a 10 x 14 gazebo?
A rectangular table for eight, or a sectional with a coffee table and space to walk. Between the posts the Sojag Ventura gives 8′8″ by 12′10″, the Verona 8′8″ by 12′9″. The roof overhangs the posts, so plan a pad at least 12 x 16 ft.
Steel, polycarbonate or fabric roof?
A galvanized steel roof (Ventura, Genova, Lucca, Metropolis, Portland) gives full shade and shrugs off rain; the Ventura adds a double roof for airflow. Polycarbonate (Verona, Pompano) lets filtered daylight through while blocking UV. A fabric top (Malta) is the lighter, lower-cost option but comes down before the first snow.
How tall is it inside?
Under the eaves the Ventura has 6′3″ and the Genova 6′5″; at the peak the Ventura stands 8′7″ and the Genova 9′. The Malta is 8′11″ at the peak.
Can it stay up in winter?
It depends on the model. Sojag says the Ventura's roof does not need to be stored for winter and that the Verona and Portland can stay up year-round; Corriveau says snow should always be cleared from the Metropolis and sells a winter support kit separately. Take a fabric top down before the first snow, and see winter covers for extra protection.
